We aim to reconstruct 3D data of the user's living space at the remote place in realtime using Kinect data acquision.In order to achieve realtime communication in natural, it is necessary 1) to reduce data and 2) to relieve drawing calcation.In this paper we propose a method of polygon reduction using plane surface detection by multiple-linear segments. Our proposed method adopts a) texture mapping and b) point cloud compensation for the plane surface with abbreviated depth data. The system verification shows that data for 3D reconstruction were reduced with our method. |
