Dynamic Characteristics of LLC Current-Mode Resonant DC-DC Converter

(in English) Recent development of power electronics has derived a wide use of switched-mode power supply in most of electrical and electronic equipment. Among them, an LLC current-mode resonant dc-dc converter has attracted attention for many years because of high efficiency and low noise. However, its dynamic characteristics have not been discussed sufficiently, and the expression of its control transfer function has not been made clear so far because the theoretical analysis by “state-space averaging method” cannot be applied to this LLC resonant converter. In this paper, by using the computer simulation, the relationship between the control transfer function and the circuit parameters associated with resonant elements, transformer, filter capacitor, and load is examined. As a result, the apparent expression of control transfer function has been derived.
