[Poster Presentation] Estimation of Center Line and Diameter of Blood Vessel by Vessel Tracing with Sequentially Binarized Head CTA Image

(in English) To support the diagnosis of the brain blood vessel disease,
a novel method to obtain the center line and
the diameter of a blood vessel is proposed with a
three-dimensional head computed tomographic angiography
(CTA) image.
In this study, the center point, direction and diameter is estimated
by calculating correlation between a blood vessel model that is
designed by considering noise influence and a binarized CTA image.
The CTA image is sequentially binarized in terms of pixel value
of estimated center point.
The validity of the proposed method is confirmed by experimentally
appling the proposed method to a sequentially binarized
three-dimensional head CTA image.
