Aerial ultrasonic source using striped mode vibrating plate by jut driving point

There are ultrasonic sources that used a vibrating plate as the source that radiates powerful sound wave in the air. A Conventional aerial ultrasonic source used striped mode rectangular vibrating plate has a drive point in the center, and that is obstruction when sonic waves radiate in the air. For the reason, the shape of the vibrating plate made the outside driving-point position was considered. When Acoustic field is formed using two or more vibrating plates, since there is a jut driving point in the center of a width direction, it is possibility that obstacle arises in the composition of sound source. In this study, about the vibrating plate which the jut driving point is except a center of a width direction, the condition from which striped mode resonance is obtained was experimentally examined. From the result, striped mode resonance is obtained with all vibrating plates which the jut driving point is except a center of a width direction, In the case of the vibrating plate of large electric impedance, large amplitude is obtained. |
