We consider an indoor visible light communication for controlling mobile robots,which uses a cellular system in order to control a number of robots. In this system, we show that by setting a proper field of view at the receiver of the robot, there are some regions that inter-cell interference can be negligible. However, only setting the field of view at the receiver is not enough to ignore the inter-cell interference in all regions. We propose a cooperative transmission scheme to communicate mobile robots in the region where the robots can not receive information because of the inter-cell interference. The proposed scheme transmits the control information in cooperation with some nearest LED lights. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can increase the number of controllable mobile robots. |
