Dynamical spin injection into p-type Ge at room temperature

(in English) Since germanium (Ge) originally has a relatively-high field-effect-mobility among semiconducting materials and its crystal growth technique is recently much improved, the application to the CMOS technology and simultaneously, Ge-based spintronics attract much attention. To realize spin devices using the Ge-channel, the achievement of the spin injection into the Ge at room temperature (RT) and the understanding of the spin transport property in the Ge are indispensable. We succeeded to detect the inverse spin-Hall effect in the p-type Ge with a dynamical spin injection method, i.e., the spin-pumping, that is, we achieved the spin injection into the p-type Ge at RT.
