Relationships between psychological adjustment and internet usage on mobile phones among high school students

(in English) The aim of this study was to explore relationships between psychological adjustment and internet usage on mobile phones among high school students. Participants were 168 high school students who were identified on the internet answered a questionnaire. Our results showed that the number of MyLinks links with classmates was significantly correlated with peer adjustment. We also observed that stability of MyLinks links with classmates was significantly correlated with peer adjustment; however, the percentage of disappeared MyLinks links was significantly negatively correlated with peer adjustment. Students posting articles on a personal Bulletin Board System, blog, or Real from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. showed lower psychological school adjustment compared with students who did not make any posts during the same time period.
