There are strong desires for urgent satellite link establishment in order to recover communication lines in large-scale disaster like the Great East Japan Earthquake. Based on the VSATs usage data in this massive disaster, this paper tries to extract potential uses of a small portable VSAT. This paper shows that multi-mode VSAT enables effective usage of recovering method for disaster area communication systems. |
