Spectrum Assignment in Multi-hop Relay with Diversity

(in English) In mobile communications, multi-hop relay can reduce the transmit power since the communication distance is reduced, which results in lower level of interference. Multi-hop relay with diversity has been studied to improve the transmission quality. However, in consecutive packet transmission, transmission performance of multi-hop relay with diversity degrades due to the presence of interference channel. In this paper, we study the spectrum assignment for the multi-hop relay with diversity. We evaluate, by computer simulation, the throughput performance of multi-hop relay with diversity using the spectrum assignment and discuss the impact of the frequency reuse factor.
