Antenna Selection Diversity for Reduction of AGC Effects in FDM based Narrowband Communication Systems

(in English) This paper discusses the antenna selection diversity schemes for reduction of automatic gain control (AGC) and analog to digital converter (ADC) effects on receiver performance in FDM based narrowband wireless communication systems. Traditionally, analysis result for the effect of the AGC and ADC on receiver performance in the system has been reported. The analysis result show that a large peak value of received signal including desired and some in-band interferences causes the reduction of a bit resolution of a desired signal amplitude. This paper discusses the criteria for the antenna selection diversity to reduce the AGC and ADC effects. Computer simulation is carried out to valid the presented technique.
