An estimation of receive BER of MIMO OFDM with channel measurement

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) When transmitting control signals through wireless channels, high quality and real time transmission is required. In this case, by estimating the receive BER using channel measurement at receiver, the receive packet is demodulated with known BER and the receive quality is maintained. In this paper, by measuring the Channel State Information (CSI) and the noise power at the receiver, the estimation of receive BER is achieved. We considered the MIMO OFDM scheme with ZF, MMSE or MLD detection. We also studied the LDPC decoded case where EM algorithm is used to estimate the decoded BER.
