Most image enlargement method are based on the estimation of frequency components from the low-resolution image.However it is impossible to reconstruct completely.Image enlargement is regarded as a ill-posed problem.We reconsider that image enlargement is a well-posed problem.When a high-resolution image is reduced to a low-resolution image, high-frequency components are lost in the process.If a low-resolution image is reconstructed by using this loss information, it is possible to regard image enlargement as a well-posed problem.Inthis paper, we propose an image enlargement method based on the loss information, and indicate the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
