On Sector Antennas and Shadowing in the Multi-Class Zone ITS Communication Scheme

(in English) This paper describes the introduction of sector antennas and the extension of the theoretical analysis considered shadowing by large vehicles in RVC(road-vehicle communication) of the Multi-Class zone ITS communication scheme.
This scheme is a integrated scheme of IVC(inter-vehicle communication) and RVC focusing on intersections.
In conventional research, reduction of the required bandwidth and performance evaluation with theoretical analysis instead of communication simulation are considered.
First, we propose the space division scheme with sector antenas for further reduction of the bandwidth.
As a result, The area to which the space division scheme can be applied is limited because of the shape feature of intersections.
On top of that, we reveal that the effect is to reduce the bandwidth by approximately 20\%.
Second, we extend the conventional theoretical analysis focusing on shadowing by large vehicles.
As a result, we can evaluate the performance under the environment where shadowing by large vehicles happens using traffic simulation and the theoretical analysis without communication simulation.
