In the acoustic analysis of acoustic pipes with complex figure of cross-section,the finite element method (FEM) has been employed,and it is well known that the computational accuracy of FEM with the structured mesh is better than the unstructured mesh such as the Delauney method.
We introduce an automatic mesh generation using the elliptic differential equation with orthogonal condition at the node, and propose a new algorithm with quasi optimality to make the structured mesh model for the pipe with complex figure. The simulation results show reasonable mesh generation for the complex ones. |
