| (in English) | In this paper the authors report development of an IME for smartphones based on IPPITSU, which is a text entry method for touch panels based on braille system. Before developing the IME, the authors surveyed conditions in which IPPITSU works well and discussed situations in which IPPITSU will be used. On the result of them, the IPPITSU IME is optimized and implemented configurations for users. When used by sighted people, the IPPITSU IME does not hide displayed contents because it is displayed translucently. Vibration displaying is enhanced for further use. | |
