(in English) This paper presents a high-sensitivity MRC array antenna used for a digital broadcasting portable TV set. The sensitivity of an MRC array antenna is significantly influenced by the holding angle of a tablet TV set and broadcasting waves polarization. Hence, we focus on the current on a ground plane to control polarization characteristics. The proposed MRC array antenna has a switch implemented on the top of a quarter-wavelength slit on the ground plane. The results show that a high-sensitivity can be achieved by optimizing the relationship between the polarization of antenna radiation and that of broadcasting waves.
