The brain can generate variable movements reactively response to visual stimuli. We hypothesized that the evolution of the decision variables that determine visuomotor map can be observable as the electrical potential change on the scalp by electroencephalogram and purposed to estimate a neural representation of the decision variables by predicting how the brain would react to a future event from the observed EEG signals. Our results suggest that the spatio-temporal neural activities in the cortex might represent the evolution of the stochastic decision variables of the visuomotor map. |
