Recently, there has been growing demand for high data rate in wireless communication. However, under the situation such as cell-edge that user equipment simultaneously receives transmitted signal from some transmission point, throughput performance becomes worse. To solve this problem, we apply CoMP(Coordinated Multi-Point) transmission considered in LTE-Advanced. In CoMP transmission, multi-point transmitters cooperate and transmit the signals. And then, CoMP shows better system performance. In this paper, we propose the CoMP transmission applying QO-STBC as the method of solution for cell-edge user throughput performance. From simulation results, we showed that proposed system is superior to time-division method in throughput performance for cell-edge user. |
