Removal of Show-through for One-side Scanned Document by Discrete Optimization

(in English) This paper presents a discrete optimization problem-based removal of show-through tequnique.
In scanning duplex printed documents, show-through may degrate the image quality and character recognition rate.
Show-through is a common phenomenon where the texts or figures on one side is appered on the other side.
There are two methods to remove show-throught. One is using one-side document, and other is using both-sizes.
Latter methods, its precision depend on alignment of documents, and if either side doesn't exist, we cannot use its method.
Former methods, we can consider estimating both-sides intensity of each pixels in documents by using discrete optimization problem,
it is difficult applying to high resolution documents because of its number of label is 256 x 256.
In this report, we propose decreasing number of label three, by estimating pixel's component(forground, show-through or background pixel).
By this method, we confirmed that removing show-throught faster.
