| (in English) | In this paper, we report our dispute and collaboration on acquiring a new skill of cello playing between a skill science researcher, the first author, and a professional cellist, the second author. We select difficult tasks of bowing with both horizontal and vertical movements, rapid bow direction change and so on. Problems here are disagreements between explanations by a skill science researcher and those by a professional cellist. The importance is the universality as well as the objectivity of the developed skills. The key issue is the persuasiveness of the developed skills. We found ways to resolve the dispute by reconsidering the explanation by bio-mechanical models more carefully. We show these attempts resolve the dispute satisfactorily. | |
