Operational Workflow Generation from Operation Manual
Masahiro Asaoka, Isao Namba (Fujitsu Lab.) ICM2012-79
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) IT operations process automation (ITPA) tools come to be able to do the operational task automatically for the quality improving of the system operation and the man-hour reduction of operators. However, it is difficult to make operational workflow for ITPA tools and the cost is high; It is necessary to describe existing operation procedure as a flow form, and to replace each operation with the execution parts of the ITPA tools. Then, we propose the system that automatically generates the operational workflow by extracting operation procedure from operation manual and associating operation names to execution parts names.
