Estimation of viewing stimulus sizes using VEP signal and features of Oculo-motors
Minoru Nakayama, Masashi Fujimoto (Tokyo Inst. of Tech.) MBE2012-118
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Prediction performances for viewing six target sizes of the Landolt
circles were determined using pupil diameter, eye movements and
viewer's occipital single channel potentials.
To reduce influence of artifacts in signals, the empirical mode
decomposition for the potentials and interpolation for metrics of
oculo-motors were applied. These processed indices present the same
information.
The discriminant prediction for visual sizes was conducted using those
indices and features,
the performance increased in some combination of features.
Also, the difference in performance among stimulus sizes and individuals
was evaluated.
