(in English) This paper introduces Toshiba's activity of Smart Community and Smart Grid from viewpoint of "Demand Response" and "Home Network/HEMS". We will focus on Yokohama Smart City Project (YSCP). We are conducting large scale demonstration test of demand response system there, including layered structure of Home Energy Management System (HEMS), cloud HEMS server system, and Community EMS (CEMS). We will also show international standardization status of demand response and home network protocols.
