A study on evaluations of radiated electromagnetic field using the equivalent theorem for bow-tie antennas operating in teraheltz range

(in English) Many of studies have been performed for experimental demonstrations/developments of a transceiver (TX) and a receiver (RX) devices towards a realization of terahertz wireless communications.
To evaluate ultimate performances, it is necessary to obtain a physical model for the TX-RX antenna pair as well as each of the TX and RX side of the device modeling and simulation. The distance between the TX and the RX devices are one of key parameters because the available value of the distance for simulation is often limited by the hard speculation of numerical calculations. We are aiming to obtain a physics-based model toward comprehensive analysis of terahertz wireless communication system to clarify the distance dependence and/or angle dependence of the radiation field by using the equivalent theorem. In this paper, the validity of our analysis is examined by comparing the proposed method with full-numeric calculations focusing on the near field region of radiations.
