Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper deals with a wireless periodical sensor data collection system, which accommodates a number of sensor nodes directly to the base station. The system uses media access using the reserved slots with CSMA/CA. When the number of sensor nodes increases, congestion occurs because the number of free slots decreases, we propose to apply source rate control to avoid congestion. In this report, parameters such as the control interval detecting congestion and the amount of change in the data acquisition interval are studied by simulation. It is found that throughput and fairness of received throughput increase by appropriately adjusting these parameters.
