In this paper, the fast and stable blind source separation algorithm, which is derived by applying auxiliary function method to independent vector analysis, is presented. The auxiliary function method is a generalization
of EM algorithm, which gives us a closed-form, convergence-guaranteed, and effective iterative algorithm if an appropriate auxiliary function is found. In this paper, in addition to the principle of the auxiliary function method and its application to independent vector analysis, the implementation of the derived blind source separation algorithm on iphone and experimental results in real environment are also introduced. |
