(in English) To realize the cost reduction of connecting optical fibers, we have
developed the All plastic ferrule. We have examined the novel
manufacturing method to realize high accurate dimension of the
ferrules. We achieved with the concentricity of 0.88um(ave.), and the
diameter precision of <±0.3um. The characteristics of the connector
using the plastic ferrules were good result for practical use.
