Improvement on block turbo decoding of SISO-OSD for two dimensional product code

(in English) SISO-OSD is a well-known decoding which can be used as a sub-decoding of an element code of block turbo decodings for two dimensional product codes. Though SISO-OSD can be easily implemented for linear codes of practical code lengths, the computational complexities of the block turbo decodings become large when the numbers of the iterations of the stages become large. In this research, an adaptive method to change the orders
SISO-OSDs in the block turbo decodings is proposed to reduce the average computational complexities of the the block turbo decodings. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by simulation results.
