Quantizer design algorithm is recently proposed by Kurkoski and Yagi for arbitrary binary-input discrete memoryless channels using dynamic programming. This study proposes an improvement of the quantizer design algorithm on the time complexity via the SMAWK algorithm for arbitrary binary-input discrete memoryless channels. |
