A Study on Coler Code Compliant with the Standard QR Code

(in English) This paper proposes a new colored QR code which complaints with the standard QR code for increasing the conveyable capacity of encoded information. The proposed method puts three QR codes to each color component of YCbCr color space so that one information are decoded from Y component of the colored QR code by a standard QR decoder and a proprietary decoder further decodes two more information from Cb and Cr components. Even several methods have been proposed to increase the capacity of QR codes which are based on digital watermarking technique and based on colorization, no colored QR code has been studied from the perspective of compatibility to the standard QR code.
