Clinical ultrasound diagnosis equipment is used for the diagnosis for the knee joints. However, quantitative evaluation of a tissue structure and a tissue property is difficult, since the relationship between the tissue properties and acoustic properties is unclear. In this research, we tried to measure the speed of sound and the attenuation of human cartilages,rabbit cartilages and rabbit meniscuses by bioacoustics microscopy with 80 MHz center frequency ultrasound. |
