An Anti-Pattern Specifying Method based on the Relation between Fields and Methods
Daiki Watanabe, Saeko Matsuura (Shibaura Inst. of Tech.) KBSE2013-1
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Repeated specification changes make it difficult for us to keep well structured source codes during the software development, because the complexity often increases. An anti-pattern is a literary form that describes a commonly occurring solution to a problem that generates decidedly negative consequences. Object oriented programming is a promising approach to define programs which have high maintainability. However, if the cohesion of each class was not considered during the programming, several anti-patterns often occur on the source codes. This paper proposes a detecting method of structural problems of source codes and discuss the trial results of applying the method to undergraduate students' programs.
