Design method for three-resonator-coupled wireless power transfer system comprising two transmission resonators and one receiving resonator is proposed. Supplied power form power source, output power to load and transmission efficiency were calculated based on the equations derived from the equivalent circuit of the system. The load resistances for maximum output power and maximum transmission efficiency were also derived from them. Thus, clear design formulas for three-resonator-coupled wireless power transfer system were obtained. The validity was confirmed by the fact that the responses simulated by circuit simulator and the values calculated from these equations were coincided. |
