Identification of Personality in the Perception of the Prosodic Information

(in English) This paper discusses about the personality identified by the perception of prosodic information. Personality of voice appears not only in voice quality, but also in prosodic information. We investigated perception
of synthesized speech, prosodic imformation of which is preserved as it is, but phonetic information of whichi is replaced by /a/ spectrum for a whole utterance. It is difficult to identify personality based on prosodic imformation. But prosodic information characterizes professional announcers’ speech. We investigated another listening test of discriminating speech of a professional announcer and an ordinary speeker. We obtained characteristics of professional announcers’ speech by analizing amplitude and F0 imformation.
