A User Inducing based on Classifier's Characteristics for Gesture Interface

(in English) This paper describes the framework of a novel cooperative gesture interface, which hints the user to make gesture recognition more accurate. The diffculties of gesture interface arise from unexpected user's behaviors and environment variations, which are hard to model. The key idea of our framework is to keep desirable condition for gesture recognition with inducing user's cooperation. The induction of user is archived by the two module; performace expectation module to evaluate how accurate the recognized result is, and feedback module to lead the user to change their behaviors and environment where the recognized result will be more accurate. We applied this framework into the hand gesture interface and discuss its effectiveness with some experiment results.
