The purpose of this study is to verify the superiority of sexual reproduction by clarifying how the differences of asexual and sexual reproductions have an influence on the migration strategy obtained by evolution. For this purpose, we adopt a co-evolutionary pursuit game in which both predator and prey evolve. Agents played the game determine their actions by evolutionary recurrent networks. In the simulations, we found that the agents evolved by the asexual reproduction can acquire aggressive migration strategies at the early generation. At the end of generation, the simulation, however, showed that the agents evolved by the sexual reproduction can obtain far more effective strategies than the asexual one. |
