Study on integrated control methods of the IP and Optical layer by SDN

(in English) In the current mobile core network, traffic is increasing rapidly by the increase in the smart phone or streaming video. Furthermore, a rapid change of unexpected traffic occurs at the time of large scale failure or disaster. The network career is required to make flexible network to withstand the change with the economical efficiency and reliability.
In order to solve these problems, integration of IP layer and Optical layer attracts attention. It is because we can ensure economical efficiency by the number reduction of equipment with the two layer and ensure reliability by Restoration are realizable.
There are two methods about the pass control in the layer integrated network. One is a static pass control method from NMS(Network Management System), and another is a dynamic pass control method by C-Plane(Control-Plane). In static control method, since the prompt action to a large scale failure and the flexible correspondence to a rapid traffic change are difficult. Therefore, we think that dynamic pass control method is better.
Then, we research the dynamic pass control method in a layer integrated network, with the concept of SDN is taken in, a control function and a transfer function are separated, and dynamic control by C-Plane is implemented in SDN controller.
