(in English) Storage technology to record digital data with a laser and read with a microscope inside fused silica, which has thermal and water resistance, has been developed. The recorded sample comprises thermostability more than two hours at 1,000 ℃, and the semipermanent preservation of valuable data including the cultural heritage is enabled.
