Vinyl insulated Vinyl sheathed Flat-type cable (VVF cable) with three conductors is used for the indoor mono-phases power line with a ground wire and the 3-phases power line without a ground wire. However, the circuit network modeling method has not been completed because of the complexity of the configuration. The model in consideration of a ground plane is needed to calculate the signal transmission property and the electromagnetic field radiation property. Although a circuit network model has been reported, the flexibility of model has a problem because the model uses the measurement value. In this report, we investigate how to determine the per-unit-length transmission line constants, where the resistance and the inductance are calculated from theoretical equations, and the conductance and the capacitance are obtained from the estimating equations which are determined based on the numerical calculation results using the finite element method. The common-mode current distribution and the radiated magnetic field were calculated by using the circuit network model and the value was compared with the measurement value. The results showed that the calculation value almost agreed with the measurement value. This means that the circuit network model can be applied to the investigation of the signal transmission characteristics and the electromagnetic field radiation. |
