Design of Bandpass Filter for Rectangular Waveguide Coupled Resonators with Inductive Windows Using Particle Swarm Optimization

(in English) Since rectangular waveguide resonators consist of metal windows and waveguide cavity
have characteristics of high power durability and low power loss, it is generally used for a microwave circuit bandpass filter.
This structure is applied to bandpass filter by designing some circuit dimensions that are a number of windows, window width and a cavity length.
In case of conventional design method based on lumped constant circuit, the optimal circuit is not always obtained due to narrow search range.
In this study, we propose a design method of rectangular waveguide filters with inductive windows using particle swarm optimization
to search for the optimal or semi-optimal solution out of a huge set of possible values of design elements.
