Examination of Brain-Computer Interface System using Event-Related Potential Induced by Tactile Stimuli

(in English) We investigated brain-computer interface using event-related potential generated by tactile stimuli in oddball paradigm. Tactile stimulus was applied to right index finger using a piezoelectric actuator that was used as a Braille display. The oddball paradigm consisted of two-target (Yes or No) stimuli, and one frequent non-target stimulus. The EEG data were classified by a Fisher’s linear discriminan. Suitable electrode channel set for a classification was examined by the comparative analysis. Considering these results，the accuracy of 90.1% of binary selection was obtained by the proposed method.
