A study of network architecture for virtualized network service functions

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Progress in NFV (Network Function Virtualisation) which performs the service function on career network by the general-purpose server leads up to NW function cloud in which virtualized NW function operating on a virtual machine.
In this case, network architecture and network control methods which considering both career network and NW functions in the cloud are required for maximal leveraging the virtualized NW function in the whole network.
In this paper, we consider about network architecture which is suitable for wide area network with virtualized NW function cloud, then we propose two control methods and evaluate the methods.
