(in English) Guided Mode Resonance (GMR) is known as a highly wavelength selective reflection phenomenon that a periodic array of scatterer exhibits against external waves. Its theoretical peak reflectivity reaches as high as 100%. This phenomenon occurs in the periodically arranged rods, so we propose a novel optical fiber supported by GMR phenomenon (Resonantly-Guided Optical Fiber: RGF). In this paper, we report the propagation loss characteristics of assist hole arranged RGF.
