For realizing SDN which includes the services beyond current OpenFlow specification, such as VXLAN or information centric service, LabelFlow is proposed in which the expansibility and flexibility of flow definition is enhanced with its virtualization by label. By sharing the matching rule from the definition to the label among end-users without the flow controller mediation, SDN can expand its scope to End-to-End defined service. Furthermore, by introducing the information centric operation with name base routing, SDN becomes able to manage the cached content location as its new feature. In addition, the throughput improvement by the policy base QoS routing is evaluated. |
