In order to guarantee the flow QoS of priority in Wireless LAN (WLAN), a flow QoS guarantee method using both TCP congestion control and MAC frame priority control has been proposed. This method tries to guarantee a bandwidth mainly by using QoS-TCP and assists the bandwidth guarantee by using QoS-MAC. This paper uses TCP-AV as QoS-TCP and ROC as QoS-MAC. So far, the method has been evaluated in a limited situation where the direction of the priority flow and the non-priority flow is uplink. Uplink (downlink) flow means the flow that the direction is from wireless terminals to the access point (from the access point to the wireless terminals). In a real environment, there are both flows. However, the behavior of the method in these cases is unclear. Therefore, this study evaluates the method by assuming the states where the uplink and downlink flow are mixed. From simulation experiments, characteristics of the method have become clear in such cases. |
