(in English) Safety criteria for diagnostic ultrasound devices are Ispta.3 ≦ 720 mW/cm2 and MI ≦ 1.9, respectively. Revisions of these criteria are investigated. We developed a safety evaluation system in biological tissue under exposure to ultrasound irradiation for animal experiment using rabbits. Especially, in order to measure the temperature rise in vivo under exposure to ultrasound irradiation, a puncture hole is prepared on the central axis of transducer for inserting a thin wire thermocouple into the tissues.
