A classifier learned by Adaboost and Haar-like feature is often used for detection of face-face parts. Although the detection by this method is high-speed with high-accurate, accuracy other than the frontal face is low. Adding a tracking process is effective for detection of profile face-face parts. However, tracking by the template matching cannot cope with large changes in shape. Further, real time tracking is difficult even when using a high performance PC. Therefore, we developed an affine motion model estimation processor and apply to face parts tracking. Face part detection and tracking system using the processor achieves real-time processing of 27fps, can be applicable to an user interface using face orientation. |
