Adaptive transport frame for reconfigurable optical transponder toward Beyond 100G

(in English) Photonic network with capability to handle dynamic and high capacity traffic will be expected to transport 400Gb/s ~1Tb/s client in the Beyond 100G Era. We have proposed a reconfigurable optical transponder which is an important component to realize elastic optical path network. In this paper, we consider a format convert function which consists of to map a bandwidth controlled Ethernet on a variable bitrate OTU and a distribution to multilane, and then investigate that function by hardware-based evaluation when the bandwidth change from 10Gb/s to 100Gb/s on 10Gb/s basis.
