Overlapped Local Color Nuclear Norm And Its Constrained Use

(in English) This report presents a generalization of the local color nuclear norm (G-LCNN) and proposes its constrained use for color image restoration. The G-LCNN admits overlapped local regions in its formulation, leading to a more efficient color artifact reduction. Its constrained use is realized by imposing the level set of the G-LCNN on convex optimization problems characterizing restored images, which makes the parameter setting in those problems more tractable. Experimental results show that the G-LCNN is superior to the original LCNN.
