Diffraction of an electromagnetic plane wave by a thick rectangular hole -- Evaluation of the transmission coefficient for oblique incidences --

(in English) Transmission coefficients are calculated for various hole's sizes and screen's thicknesses and for several incident angles by using the KP solution of electromagnetic plane wave diffraction by a rectangular hole in a conducting screen with a finite thickness. Since the solution includes several kinds of double infinite series with a product of four Bessel functions, we developed an effective algorithm to calculate them. Numerical results of the transmission coefficient are presented as functions of the thickness to study the transmission property of the hole.
